FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will I be alone, or in a group?
You will be part of a small group. While you are part of a group, you
will be treated as an individual, with special attention given to your
specific needs.
What can I expect from the retreat?
You can expect a quiet time of deep reflection, in a safe and beautiful
place…a process of re-connecting with yourself, gently guided by
professionals in wellness, psychology, and spirituality.
Will I be able to receive CEU Credits?
You can receive academic credit from the Universal University of
Holistic Spirituality, a distance learning school, which is accredited
from the State of Florida, USA. Receive 3 hours of academic credit for
LifePath, 2 hours for the theme retreats. Contact the university directly for registration procedures.
Massage Therapists: The American Massage Therapy Association
(AMTA) and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP)
do not certify any programs, but will accept these hours if the
individual massage therapist feels they are applicable to his or her
practice. Contact hours for LifePath are 35; for Theme Retreats, 20
hours.
Psychologists: This course meets the current requirements for CE
credit for Psychologists. One hour for every hour of class is issued
(25 hours). You will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon
completion of the retreat for a maximum of 25.0 Hours. Offered by
Psychologist, Beverly Nelson, Ph.D., Texas License #4442.
Where will the retreat sessions be held?
In our beautiful Retreat Center located in the central part of San Miguel, close to the Jardin.

How do I get to San Miguel de Allende?
You will make your
own flight arrangements to Leon or Queretero International Airports.
Upon your arrival, you will be transported from the airport to your
hotel in San Miguel de Allende by a prearranged shuttle. The shuttle
trip is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. See our San Miguel de Allende Travel section for more information.
Will I receive all the information I need before I leave home?
Yes. After your place is confirmed, you will receive a full information
packet. The packet will include directions, information sheet, and an
important exercise that will help you frame your Intention for the
retreat.
Will I have free time?
The late afternoon and evening time is unstructured for your non-guided
activities which will be directly related to your retreat intention and
stage of your journey. Examples of these activities may include: quiet
reflection, journaling, walking, spiritual reading, getting a massage,
basking in the sun, relaxing by the pool, delighting in exploring the
traditional open-air market, or enjoying the many sights and sounds of
San Miguel de Allende.
What other costs will be involved besides my retreat package fee?
You will arrange your own accommodations and meals while in San Miguel.
You will also handle personal costs, such as tips, taxi rides, and
souvenirs.
Airports for San Miguel de Allende are Leon International Airport
(BJX), or Queretero International Airport (QRO), or Mexico City (MEX).
Shuttle from Leon or Queretaro are 90 minutes, bus from Mexico City
