What is Mindfulness of the Body?
The Buddha gave clear instructions for training in Mindfulness in the teaching, the Satipatthana Sutta, or the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. Those foundations are Mindfulness of the body, the feeling characteristics, the mind, and the dhammas. In this series of classes we will focus on that first foundation, using the body and breath as a doorway to Awakening. Some previous meditation experience is required. There is no fee for the class. There will be opportunities to offer donations.
Ann Barden has practiced and taught Insight Meditation for many years. She divides her time between San Miguel and Ann Arbor Michigan.
