July 2016: Tibetan Yoga of Lu Jong – A workshop with Farrah Garan

Thursday July 21st, 3 – 5 pm

Lu Jong Workshop LifePath Center San Miguel De Allende

Rooted in Tibetan Medicine principles, Lu Jong is an ancient practice from the Tantrayana Buddhist tradition. This series of movements forms a comprehensive system that releases blockages on the physical, mental and energetic levels. It is a very practical and accessible method for boosting health and happiness, but also has profound spiritual benefits.

This workshop combines practice and theory. Learn a complete 15-min movement sequence that focuses on nurturing the spine—the root of our health—and balancing the five elements, which are the foundation of a functional body and mind. Participants will also learn about the subtle body, principles of Tibetan Medicine, five elements theory and Tantrayana Buddhism.

These ancient movements were collected into a comprehensive system by Tulku Lobsang—Tantrayana master and Doctor of Tibetan Medicine. By rhythmically applying pressure to particular points, Lu Jong systematically trains our subtle body channels to be more open, enabling the free flow of blood, breath, energy and consciousness. In this way, the body becomes less prone to disease, the mind becomes more calm and stable and energy levels increase.

The full Lu Jong level 1 practice focuses on the health of the spine, improving joint mobility, boosting organ function and balancing common conditions. It is accessible to people of all ages, abilities and philosophies.

If you want to increase your health and happiness, you will find a clear method with Lu Jong. Come experience it for yourself! And, if you would like to share this practice with others, please ask about the upcoming Lu Jong Teacher Training LifePath.

Cost: 200 pesos
